Another one completed 🔨 Straight forward terrace roof replacement here. Renewing the very old cement fibre slate with new black Moorland slates, also removing the old and inadequate lead valley and wall flashings with new. Turning this old and dingy roof into a sleek and durable one that’s fit for purpose. Old, tired and worn stonewold tiles off and replaced with new Sandtoft Danum flat tiles in brown, along with new felt and batten. Brand new white fascia, soffit, guttering and downpipes also brought it all together, looking so much better and ready for the rain to come. In with the new lead tray on this chimney and out with the old, split and unfit for purpose one, with new rear flashing and front tray. Sprayed with Thompsons brick sealant for that extra layer of protection giving this chimney a longer lease of life. We don’t just carry out roofing work, we also install fascias, soffits, guttering and downpipes. Fitted these natural Spanish slates and clay black ridges to this summer house in Southerdown recently, on a very rare, nice and sunny day. Old and weathered Redland Stonewold tiles removed and replaced with a Moorland artificial slate on this job. Black clay IMG ridge also installed to finish off this roof. Simple and sleek. Great effort by the team on this one with the dry and hot weather we could definitely get used to. Straight forward terraced house roof with extension renewed by the team this time. Very old Welsh slate with poor condition batten was removed and replaced with an artificial Jutland slate. Looking a lot more modern and sleeker compared to roofs nearby. Great protection and looking so much better. Removing the multiple layers of existing flat roof on this garage was a right slog, but really pleased how it all came together in the end. The original roof held a ton of water on top, along with the multiple leaks was bad news. Installing the furring timber to allow the water to drain off will help enormously. New ply boards, anthracite grey fascia, soffits, guttering and new rubber membrane instead of the old bitumen tar and felt, make this garage flat roof look another level alongside the new pitched roof.
